About Me
Hello!! Here I try to explain my career graph in chronological order. Also, this contains information NOT mentioned in my resume.
Cognizant
1 year, 3 months
In India, the concept of on-campus recruitment is prevalent, and I was part of one such recruitment drive. I joined Cognizant with inexplicable enthusiasm. I was assigned into a technical-support team that handles calls from retail stores in the US and resolves first level technical issues. The role was partially technical but primarily focused on managing frustrated store employees, who in turn were dealing with frustrated customers. I realized that this was an ideal starting point for me, as I learned professionalism, how to work under time pressure, and how to multitask. However, after a year, I realized that this was not the path I wanted to pursue, nor was it a means to achieve my goals. So, I decided to quit. Also, my time on this project taught me to appreciate even small successes at work, to always be kind to those in the service industry, and to pursue only what truly interests me.
HTC Global Services
4 years, 8 months
I liked coding and wanted to get into software development. At HTC Global, I got into ETL (Extract-Transform-Load) development and support, setting up workflows with Informatica tool and automating error handling and setting up alerts through shell scripts. Here, I got to consistently interact with stakeholders who were consuming the data that I was setting up and most of them were Data Analysts. The analytics part spiked my curiosity, and I came to discover Kaggle, AnalyticsVidhya, TechGig, CrowdAnalytix; a whole lot of open-source communities to explore the field of analytics. I did some self-learning and worked on a couple of projects and realized that Analytics is what I really wanted to do. So, I decided to do a full-fledged course that would give me a platform to learn more and network with peers. The course came to an end, and I wanted to move into a full-time analytics role.
Caterpillar Inc
3 years, 1 month
At Caterpillar, I worked as a Product Data Analyst, focusing on pilot machine data. This analysis was conducted during test runs of new machines before they entered mass production. I handled end-to-end analytics requests, starting with extracting raw telematics data from sensor output files and building Python pipelines to clean the data and perform anomaly checks. Once the analysis was complete, I visualized the results using Tableau or Power BI dashboards and automated updates on a daily or hourly basis. Caterpillar facilitated my learning process tremendously through free learning portals and active communities for Python enthusiasts. During my time there, I gained valuable experience, mentored new team members, and built a strong professional network. However, I eventually reached a point where the learning curve plateaued, and I wanted to transition into analytics within a domain I truly love—Fintech.
Kaleidofin Pvt. Limited

The fintech domain was truly exciting and I had the opportunity to work under women leaders dedicated to improving the lives of women without access to formal credit systems. One of the most rewarding experiences was collaborating with a statistician on valuable survey data to help build a case for a new credit product designed for the informal economy. I also built a Looker Studio dashboard from scratch, connecting it to big data on GCP, which eventually became the go-to platform for in-house Android app analytics. The startup's flat hierarchy and the opportunity to work alongside finance experts was an enriching experience. Just as I was becoming integrated into the company culture, I unexpectedly received an interview opportunity with a Berlin-based company. I chose to go for it, because it felt like a rare opportunity — better to try and fail than to never try at all. And that was the interview that landed me a job in Germany.
Upday GmbH
1 year, 3 months
The experience and exposure that I got after getting outside my bubble was life changing. To meet new people and to encounter fresh perspectives of people from different parts of the world was enlightening. I worked as a Senior Data Analyst working on different facets of online NEWS and the whole thing was highly engaging. The adrenaline rush of a fast-paced environment and the joy of learning new things and accomplishing several other tasks was absolutely satisfying. And still being able to draw clear boundaries for work-life balance was something that I have never done before. I was looking forward to new challenges and growth when the company decided to end operations on a short notice.
So, now I am here looking for exciting new opportunities that will test my abilities.
Thank you for reading till the end!!
